Good, but not great, book by the former Chief of the Service3
As the leading civilian authority on the U.S. Secret Service, I was moderately impressed with Frank J. Wilson's book, co-written with Beth Day, entitled "Special Agent." Don't get me wrong: it's a fine book...but some of the facts are wrong, there's no index, it's alittle dated, and alittle dry in places. Still, for the Secret Service researcher, it's essential.
