Simple
I my view, one of the top 5 albums EVER. Brilliant lyrics along with exceedlingly talented musicianship. There is simply not one bad song on the album. I listen to it about once a week and it never grows old. For those who have only heard "No Rain," it is probably one of the weakest song, if you can call it that.
What a Promissing CD from a Talented Band
I am sad to say that I was there the night that Shannon was found, they were going to play at Tips that night!
Melonheads
Its hard to place where Blind Melon belongs in the era of Rock. I know they didn't belong in the programmed 90's era of MTV children. Hippy music in the 90's was destined to be overlooked. The cool thing is that people will stumble upon this band forever and I only wish like many of Blind Melon fans that Shannon Hoon could have delivered us more. But then again, he delivered just enough. My advice is listen to the CD and read the words. You may be surprised at what it means to you.
