I only liked the first son
I bought this CD because my friend's son plays the guitar on it

Great album
The album in whole is really good if you like blues rock with a twist of psychedelic theme to it. The song "Welcome to my Room" is the reason I bought it, but I soon fell in love with the chorus of "Gabe". It is one of those albums that you can listen to over and over, day after day.
Back to 1970, seriously?
When I first heard this album, I had to double check and make sure that it was a 2007 release, and not a 1972 release. Yes this band sounds exactly like they came out of the Vietnam War era. That's not a bad thing. The music here is still fresh, but I'm not sure if the band ever is able to establish their own sound. By naming themselves Vietnam and playing music from that era, the band has doomed their self-titled album. It's good, but I'm still wondering why this band was born in the wrong decade.
