Big Fail
While a thrash band like exodus creates a a Masterpiece with Exhibit A, Overkill creates a piece of crap with Immortalis. The guitar sounds are total crap, the song writting is boring and the riffs are very elemental for a band that used to be great. Dont know what went wrong with Overkill, but they better fix it.

Give it up already
It's amazing bands like Overkill continue to actually get funded by record labels to put out these types of albums. They seem to release a new album every year of mediocre material. Their heydey was in the late 80s when this type of music actually had some modicum of commerical viability. Now, it's just a joke. Who really cares at this point? To me, Overkill seems to be stressing quantity over quality , releasing tons of inconsequential albums while the real stalwarts of the genre (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer) actually put out something of quality every 4-5 years, and it is usually worth waiting for.

May not be their best, But I salute them for not selling out!!
I've been listening to this band since the late 80's.
But like SLAYER, OVERKILL has stayed true to their metal fans.
This album is hard & heavy, metal fans should listen to this album with pride knowing not all metal is dead.
I think "Devils in the mist" & "Hellish Pride" are 2 of the best on this album.
If you are a true metal fan you will like this album, If you are a new metal fan go listen to metallica!!
I rate this CD a 9 from 1to10!!
