Perfect tea set for granddaughter!
My granddaughter loves this tea set! She is only 2 so we wanted to get her one that wasn't porcelain. This one is perfect and it is pretty too! I bought a small picnic basket at Walmart to store it in and gave it to her for her birthday. Then I taught her how to have a tea party with all of her teddy bears. So much fun!
Tea, coffee, cocoa, dog water -- this set does it all!
My two-year-old discovered this tea set in the kid's play room at the Manzanar National Historic Site. It was some kind of primal toddler thing: she immediately knew exactly what to do with it.
We purchased a set and have gotten a lot of use. Almost everyday we are treated to tea, coffee or cocoa. The dishes are perfect for luncheon -- my personal favorite is alphabet sandwiches.
They are tin -- so they bend if stepped on. But that's better than breaking into a lot of little pieces. The paint has not started flaking off after 9 months of daily use. A definite buy -- an excellent value for the money.
Huge hit for the tea party crowd
This tin tea set was apparently a huge hit with my 3year old niece. She's into carrying around her tea set for parties on the go. The tiny ceramic set just couldn't keep up, but this one can hold it's own in the backpack. It's also a better size for young motor skills than the teeny ceramics with teeny handles.
