Average customer review:Product Description
This book is the first of two volumes covering the fascinating German jet and rocket powered aircraft projects that were designed, developed, but not flown before the end of WW II. It is a look into the future, since many of the projects were adopted and adapted to the postwar needs of the victorious Allies. This volume covers German day fighters and interceptors plus multi-engined heavy day fighters known to the Germans as Zerstorers. This book also explores the background and conditions that facilitated the creation of so many diverse designs.

Editorial Reviews
Review
Numerous jet and rocket-powered aircraft projects were designed in Germany during World War Two that failed to fly before the end of the conflict. This volume details the day fighters and interceptors, plus multi-engined Zerstorers. The book has a lively design and makes good use of artwork. -- Fly Past,UK, December 1999

Excellent reference book
If you like the WWII aviation history, this book is a good example of the efforts of the Luftwaffe in order to change the Fate of the Reich. It's a comprensive study of the R&D planes of that period. I'm waiting for the second volume...
excellent resource
This book has some very in depth information on the secret projects of the experimental luftwaffe. The drawings, three views, photos, etc. are excellent for aircraft modelers.
All in all, it is an excellent book that I would recomend.
