Amazon.com Product Description
Would-be thieves will give up quickly when they see how long it'll take to saw through this beefy U-shape lock from Master Lock. This keyed lock comes with a carrier bracket for stable storage on bicycles and motorcycles. A vinyl, covered body and shackle won't scratch the bike's finish when it's time to lock up. And, a hardened steel shackle resists cutting, sawing, hammering and more. The lock is 4-1/2 inches wide and 8 inches long to fit easily around rims and frames together. --Brian D. Olson

Serviceable.4
This a good, reliable lock, and its cost is a serious point in its favor. On the downside, it is not long enough. With my Kryptonite, I can easily latch myself onto most bike racks but that is not the case with the Master Lock. Another problem is that it does not fit around sign posts (unfortunately, an occasional necessity) as well as the Krypto. I have to give it four stars though because I use it for securing my helmet to the bike when I ride out to a social event. I have no choice given how incredibly uncool it is to walk around a party with your helmet in your hand, lol. With this assignment, the Master Lock succeeds admirably. I'd buy another.

A lock's a lock3
No problem with the lock itself, but the carrier bracket it comes with... well, it also comes with instructions to get it on your bike, but it's the vaguest set of instructions I've ever seen. Nothing is labeled, and it expects you to be able to tell by looking at the tiny blurred pictures on the tiny instruction sheet. This is really annoying.

Don't buy!!!!!!!!1
I bought this lock brand new and it broke in less than a month. The key was jammed and I had to call my college's service person to saw the lock off my bike, and he told me that a lot of people have the same problem with the master bicycle lock. The lock came with a warranty, so I mailed them the broken lock (which costs 7 bucks) and they never sent me a new lock or replied.
