Customer Reviews
Excellent instructor and very useful.
I'm thankful for this product. It brought me up to speed very quickly and efficiently for graduate school. I actually enjoy working with spreadsheets as a result of this instructional packet and also his other book on PivotTables - Data Crunching.
Me Helping YOU find the BEST TOOLS to Learn EXCEL
I don't know about you, but I love color, and this DVD is in color.
I don't know why all the books on Excel are in black and white or in the case of "Master Visually Excel 2007"; the book's print is in a blue/gray.
Now if you are wanting to learn Excel 2007 this DVD is for you and is very good for the most part.
Check out lesson 10, it has some goodies.
My one and only complaint is that if you are looking to really learn and understand how to do VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, IF STATEMENTS, DATA TABLES, and so on you will need to look else ware. And I have some great news for you on that. I will be giving you a link to a site I have found that is really good.
Now in all of my searching I have not found a book that starts you off with simple examples such as VLOOKUP examples and practices and progresses to harder ones. In my opinion I don't feel any of the books on Excel really give good or great examples even if it is given a 4 or five star rating...that's just me.
Now if you learn visually I sagest not only buying this DVD, but go to this site [...]
Now they have not updated their lessons to MS 2007, but you can still learn from the CD's or you can directly download the lessons to you computer.
I plan on using their CD's to learn ACCESS as well.
Hope my post has or will help you out!
