Excellent watch for the money. 4
Excellent watch for the money. I bought mine through Amazon about six months ago and am very satisfied by this watch. I think I paid $54 for it then and the shipping was very quick. This is my first automatic and I love the fact that I never have to replace a battery. It has a simple elegance that reminds me of WWII British and American issue watches. It runs a little fast (probable gains a minute a week) but this is not a big issue.

One out of four5
This watch comes in 4 models, SNK 803 with a beige strap and dial, SNK 805 with a green strap and dial, SNK 807 with a blue strap and dial, and SNK 809 with a black strap and dial. What I like most is the red tip on the seconds hand that sweeps continuously across the dial and not in steps for every second like in most analog watches. Also cool is the untraditional numbering of the hour markings, where the 5-minutes are more protruding than the hours. The strap looks better in the photos than in reality, but it's still very nice and tough-looking, although it is narrower than you think when you see it on the guy's arm in the pictures above. The strap looks better in the photos than in reality, but it's still very nice and tough-looking, although it is narrower than you think when you see it on the guy's arm in the pictures above. The see-through case is a gimmick I could do without, but anyway, nice to watch the watch work. Buy all four and you have one to go with every occasion and dress colour/code. This item sells on eBay for 30-40 dollars.

A Great Little Automatic Wind Watch5
First, I want to state that I bought this watch as a casual/outdoor activity watch, not as a dress watch, so the nylon band and medium size are perfect for my needs. I've seen some online complaints about these two issues.

For such an inexpensive automatic (self-winding) watch it keeps surprisingly accurate time. The one I own gains about 10-15 seconds a day. The directions that came with it are easy to read and to follow. I especially like the day of the week feature. Now when I look at my watch, I don't have to guess what the day of the week is (yes, I have that problem sometimes.)

My only serious criticism is that the watch crown is much too small. I have slender fingers and even I sometimes find it difficult to get a hold of the crown to pull it out. The crown could easily be twice as large without any adverse effect to the sense of proportion.

One last thing, I bought this watch from an authorized dealer here in the USA, so that may explain why it is so well regulated and keeps such good time. Previous experience tells me that watches bought in Asia at a great discount can be iffy on this score. And just try to return it for servicing! Postage to Singapore, the months long wait, it hardly seems worth the savings.
