Seiko mechanical self-winding wrist watch4
This Seiko watch is a really nice wrist watch. I was impressed with it and I like the fact that I will not have to replace batteries as long as I own the watch. On the down side the watch does lose a few minutes over a period of time but that is a quick fix and it is not a big problem.

Superior Value5
I needed a wristwatch to wear when traveling on vacations that would not be targeted for theft on tours of Europe, Middle East, etc (rather than wearing my "good" watch.) I also wanted one that was self-winding so I didn't have to rush out and replace the battery at the last minute every year... or the battery would die just as I got to Hungary or Africa. This Seiko is reliable, easy to read, easy to set, an excellent value... and no worries about a dead battery causing me to miss getting back to the tour bus after lunch (or an hour late to the cruise ship!)

Looks like a cheap knock-off1
I've owned a couple of nice Seikos in the past and when I saw the picure and price on Amazon I thought...wow what a nice watch and a great deal. After opening the box which didn't even come in Seikos trademark blue stamped box....this one was a generic black box with no Seiko booklet. I was disapointed to find a lightweight, rattle sounding band, cheap looking watch. It's not horrible but I would pay $50 off the rack at a discount store. I'm returning it but I have to pay $10 for a restock fee plus my shipping back to them.
