| The lack of understanding about money is one of the primary reasons relationships fail. People break up over money and how they feel about it. In building a successful relationship, becoming financial literate should be primary. As a couple, it is difficult to create a relationship that is based on love and trust if you cannot have an honest conversation about money. It is our being uncomfortable with the subject of money that keeps us from conversing about it. Understanding the finances or the bottom line in your household is the responsibility of both partners. Talking about your seperate perspectives on money is a great way to start the conversation. To help create intimacy between each other, approach this subject in an open and honest way. As you open up, do not judge the other for how one may feel about money; both partners perspectives and experiences are important. When it comes down to it, we all have issues surrounding money. However, it is our response to it that makes the difference | ||
