Find the method most suited to your talents and open a window onto the future!

Product Description

Open a window onto the future and get a glimpse of days to come! So many methods exist for getting a "jump" on time--dowsing, necromancy, different forms of astrology, tarot--and, with this complete encyclopedia of fortune telling, you can choose the one most suited to your talents. Which one will be your crystal ball? To know which way the wind blows, try aeromancy, or divining by atmospheric conditions. Do you know what it means if you see a spider web in your doorway? A dictionary of omens and superstitions says you're about to have a guest! There's a dream dictionary, too. Or, try Oriental astrology, palmistry, and phrenology (assessing character from the bumps on the head), and various forms of casting, such as runes, dice, dominoes, and the Tablets of Fate. Over 500 pages of easy-to-understand explanations, directions, charts and illustrations make this the biggest book of fortune telling ever! 512 pages, 105 b/w illus., 4 3/16 x 5 1/4.

A must-have book!5
Everyone in interested in fortune-telling (and just about anyone who has even a slight interest in the subject) should get this book. It is both fun and complete, covering dozens and dozens of fortune-telling techniques from the commonly-known to the obscure. Astrology, tarot, dream interpretation, i-ching, palmistry, tea leaves, runes, geomancy, handwriting analysis, crystal balls, and more are all covered in this one book. The only mystery is how the makers of the book are able to include so much in an attractive little book you can carry in the palm of your hand. This is an amazingly thorough book, not only in the breadth of fortune-telling techniques it includes, but also in the depth of coverage of each topic. Each technique or principle is described in detail, with easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions that enable you to quickly try it out for yourself or on others. The illustrations and charts are so clear and concise that there is no fumbling around to get a thought-provoking reading--the information is well-written and right where you need it. This is a marvelous book. It provides a thorough guide to fortune-telling that is complete in itself; yet, also allows the reader the opportunity to discover which methods he/she enjoys using the most and would like to continue to study. In this way, it's a great time and money saver: instead of buying dozens of complicated books on differing methods, this inexpensive, delightful volume allows you to easily discover which areas of fortune-telling most appeal to you. Meanwhile, even experienced practitioners will find this book a handy reference. I bought this book because I own and appreciate The Little Giant Encyclopedia of the Zodiac, which was made by the same people as this book. Thus, I brought high expectations as to the quality of this book, and my expectations were well-exceeded. I really love this book and am sure you will like it so much, too, that you will want to buy it to give as gifts--unless you want to keep all the secrets of fortune-telling to yourself!

EVERYONE WITH ANY INTREST IN FURTUNE TELLING NEEDS THIS BOOK5
This book was good if you wanted to learn a little bit about all kinds of fortune telling, if you need a little introductory to the fortune telling you want to practice, or if your just plain intrested. Everything is described in "plain english", VERY easy to inderstand. The charts were also easy to look at. It includes such things as palmistry, phrenology, physiognomy, and numerology. Not great for those for anyone whos serious in a certain kind of fortune telling because it usually just includes the basics of the basics on some subjects. Some of my favorite subjects from this book were palmistry, oneiromany (studying your dreams), tarot, and crystallography (reading your fortune from crystal balls)!

I love this book!5
This book covers just about everything related to the art of fortunetelling.

Very cute book. Though if you are looking for indepth explanations for specific fortune telling techniques you should look elsewhere.

This is just a generalization that covers a vast spectrum of forms of fortune telling.
