Product Description

Spiritual Reflexology, is a self help manual. It teaches techniques and offers specific sequences to follow to bring about change in your body, mind and spirit. Using two aspects of consciousness, attention and intention, Spiritual Reflexology, shows how the reflexes send a nerve impulse through the nervous system to the glands and organs. It also presents a theory of sending a vibration through the nervous system to change the force field of fear to a higher vibration, namely Love. The unique characteristic of Spiritual Reflexology, is that it offers a glossary that defines each reflex's physical, mental, emotional and energetic aspects and their spiritual gifts.

About the Author
Deborah Ardell Hill is a nationally certified bodyworker with 15 years experience in the field. She has worked in a spa setting and a general private practice. She has taught Reflexology courses to novices and bodyworker alike for over 7 years. While teaching a Reflexology course she realized, 'what wasn't being taught was resounding off the walls louder than the traditional information that was being shared.' It was then that Ardell began gathering notes and preparing to write Spiritual Reflexology.

From Chapter 6: MOUTH: The cheeks, hard and soft palates and the tongue represent another one-fifth of your five sense organs. The cheeks form the lateral walls of the mouth, and terminate at the upper and lower lips; during chewing the cheeks and lips help to keep food between the teeth and also assist in speech. The hard palate is the anterior (top) portion of the roof of the mouth, it is formed by the palatine bones, covered by a mucous membrane and forms a bony partition between the oral and nasal cavities. The soft palate forms the posterior (back) portion of the roof of the mouth. It is an arch shaped muscular partition between the oral pharynx and the nasal pharynx; it is also covered by a mucous membrane. The hard and soft palates keep the food in the mouth and out of the nasal passage. The tongue together with its associated muscles forms the floor of the mouth. With the additional help of the teeth and saliva, food is chewed and slightly digested before the tongue creates movements that maneuver and shape the food into a rounded mass and forces it to the back of the mouth for swallowing. The reflex for the mouth is in Zone 1, section A, on the lateral (small toe) side of the big toe. From the top of the big toe the first indentation is the reflex for the pineal gland. Moving towards the webbing of the toe the next reflex is nose, then mouth. Precision in point is the technique used. Chinese medicine defines the mouth as part of the earth element, being the sense organ for the spleen/stomach meridians. The tongue is defined as part of the fire element, being the sense organ for the heart/ small intestine meridians. Energetically, the mouth, teeth and tongue are located in the fifth energy center or throat chakra, it deals with the drawing in of life force, of breath, and of the nourishment to sustain life. It is associated with your ability to speak your truth. Spiritually, the mouth reminds us that the universe is audible. It hears and defines words literally without regard to spelling (wait or weight). It then responds without judgment, giving you just what you ask for. If you feel and say "I want a relationship in the worse way," you are setting the intention of your next relationship. Are you ready for a one night stand? Be specific when speaking to the universe. Feel how you would feel if you had the highest vibration of the experience you desire. Feel it, ask for it, and detach from it. Let love do the rest. Words have power. Think before you speak. Choose your words with love and conscious intention, highest and greatest good for all concerned.

A Gift of Spirit5
This book is the next step in reflexology. After learning the physical technique, this book helps you look into spiritual connections. What is your intention--where is your attention? I also enjoyed reading up on the "Definitions of Reflexes and Their Spiritual Gifts." A wonderful book to read. I recommend it!

Relaxation in our Fearful Times5
Deborah Ardell Hill writes in such a way so that everyone may relate to her art/science and apply it to his/her own life. A beautiful book and reference to use to get back in touch with the gifts around us everyday which we take for granted. We are all connected, and Deborah Ardell Hill's book gives many examples of how, and then how to use this reconnect to make your own life better, as well as those around you. With her diagrams and explanations of energies, reflexology is attainable by each and every one of us. Congratulations, Ms. Hill...a job well done!

A must read5
This book is an excellent resource for further developing your spiritual peace. Even if you don't practice reflexology often, this book has alot to offer above and beyond the practice.
