Excellent transfer info4
Yes, this book(let) is short and Golden products are featured, but it is crammed with beautiful work, ideas, and practical instructions on a wide variety of proven techniques.

I had already signed up for an online class before I got this book - but Transfers and Altered Images is better at one third the price. This is like having a friend demo all her great tricks for you!

Use another brand of gels, etc., if you want to, but take advantage of Chris Cozen's expertise with this book.

Short and to the point. Lots of great information5
I hesitated to buy this because of some comments I had read. It is, indeed, a very short (almost a large sized pamphlet) book but I have not found any other that is as succinct and to the point. There is a ton of fabulous information contained in these few pages. I am so pleased that I DID decide to get this. I love Golden products - and use them a lot. Obviously, as a Golden working artist, Chris Cozen will specify Golden products but it does not take a huge leap to realize that other acrylic mediums might work near - or as - well. Worth the money!

Beautiful art work, but overpriced, glorified catalog3
Although this book features some gorgeous art work and creative ideas, I give it only three stars for just that. Otherwise, it is merely a glorified advertisement catalog for Golden products, which was disappointing to me. You can't really call it a book as it is puny and really just a booklet, which I found to be grossly overpriced. This should not sell for anymore than maybe $6 or $7 at the very most.
