A FANTASTIC COLLECTION
In 3 DVDs , for a very good price, you can watch the complete series of Playboy Wet & Wild : 10 titles, some unavailable, from 1989 to 2002.
These titles, in my opinion, are among the best of Playboy (a must for PB collectors): the playmates, as usual, are gorgeous, but there is a richness of cheerfulness, innocence, joie de vivre, lacking in more recent Playboy productions.

Great First Playboy DVD
I am not into those sleazy pornographic films, where people are having sex and whatnot. I am more into posing, and more tasteful stuff. That is why i stay away from magazines such as Hustler and Leg Show, and stay with Playboy.

Since i have come to trust Playboy quite a bit with their magazines, i decided to try their movies.

I will admit that i have not watched the whole DVD yet, but the first two discs, though very vintage looking, leave me satisfied.

It is pretty much Playboy Magazine, but in motion. There are various beautiful women put into different settings that have to do with water. They are doing very sensual things in the water, obviously.

This set comes with three discs, clocking in at 8 hours 40 minutes TOTAL. For $30, 8 hours is not half bad.

The girls, though a little vintage looking as said above, are very pretty. Their hair can do with some touch-ups, but it is the body that counts. They sure have the body.

Overall, for a first Playboy DVD, this is excellent. I have gone through 4 softcore DVDs, including this one, and this stands up as the best by far.

If you are into beautiful girls posing, added with the fetish of water, this is the DVD for you.

(PB-style) naughty, yet squeaky clean!
If you can wade through these issues:

the atmospheric emphasis PB gives to set the stage for (& fill) many of the vignettes: (sometimes lingering) shots of seagulls, landscapes, cityscapes, (clothed female and/or male) dancers, etc...you get the picture;

a significant proportion of the entire series displaying the dreaded VHS-to-DVD-transfer graininess, so that just when you want to pause for an exciting still shot, you get blur (though, to be fair, much of it is acceptable-to-good);

some silicone--not on a majority of models, & never basketball-sized, but more than I've seen before with PB (perhaps 15-20 percent);

a substantial amount of "jigsaw puzzle"-style filming/editing--here a body part, there a body part, but how about more of the whole woman? Sometimes more frustrating than satisfying;

spotty, unpredictable eye contact--in a few segments none, in others almost none (though, again in fairness, a majority of episodes contain a substantial amount);

the occasional chapter that's just a dud (usually because it's too artsy, and/or the models come across as distant & aloof);

some repetition in the damsels used from one segment to another--though, altogether, there are a lot of women represented here, between all three discs, making for an ABUNDANCE of gorgeous eye candy! There IS a handful of a dozen or so that clearly must have been Hef's favorites ("You? Again? Didn't we just see you?")--because they do show up much more often than most. I didn't get a count of the number of different women from all the episodes, though I wouldn't be surprised if it tops 100; see the review entitled "W & W Complete Set Review" for a more detailed breakdown/overview;

the girl-girl segments being typical PB cotton-candy soft, with far more tease than please. (The mercifully few boy-girl/s scenes have that saccharine, R-rated, hopelessly simulated feel;)

and, also in PB fashion, as any aficionado knows, it would be unrealistic to expect any traffic-stopping, full-rear-view-with-eye-contact shots--or any real pink worth taking your breath away, for that matter--& we're not surprised by any break from tradition here;

...again, if you can get past these reservations--& I say it's worth the effort--then you're in for an extended, fun ride through the usual bevy of PB beauties, covering just about every water-related subject they can uncover themselves in.

Taken separately, I would've given each disc three stars; it's the unprecedented, sheer volume of collective chapters that warrants the overall fourth.

Despite its imperfections, I still enjoyed much of it. A significant number of moments are outstanding; much effort is made, mostly successfully, to promote a sense of fun about it all; no one has tattoos or piercings; & all in all I'd say it's a solid addition to a collection.
