Amazing boots!!
I was looking for a pair of lace up combat style boots and found these. They were a bit more then I really wanted to spend on a pair of boots but I decided what the heck.

They're super comfortable! I read reviews on different websites about them and most people said they run a 1/2 to 1 whole size big so I got an 8 1/2 instead of my usual 9 and I'm glad I did. They're just a bit big but a 9 would have been huge. The laces are plenty long.

Now that I've had them for a couple weeks I'm thinking of buying another pair in brown...

horrible purchase-
I put these boots on and by the time I was walking out the door, I looked down and the leather had peeled away from it stitching and made a big hole on the top the boot ! I bought these in black from another store and they are just fine, wear them all the time. Maybe it's this particular vendor- they buy "2nd's" and don't disclose this to the buyer or it was just a flaw in this particular pair- I have just sent them back- lets see if I get my money back.

For $150, I was a little hesitant, but...
I can say with all honesty that these are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn, and I've been through a lot of them! I normally don't spend so much on a single pair, but I can tell you that it's worth it. The plaid interior is classy and the leather is soft. They are also true to size. I did not spend any time at all breaking them in; the moment I put them on, they were comfortable for the rest of the day.

The only thing that bothers me about these boots is that, like many lace-up varieties, the laces are too short. Other than that, I can't recommend these highly enough.
