comfortable, GREAT BOOT!
I just got these boots yesterday in the mail. After reading reviews on other websites for these boots, I decided I would order a 1/2 size up (I normally wear an 8, I ordered an 8.5), and it was a GOOD IDEA. They definitely would be too tight if I ordered my regular size. Of note, the toe box is a bit snug, and I don't have particularly wide feet, but I have been walking in them all day today, and so far, they are fine. I don't feel any areas of pinching or blister-forming areas (not yet at least). What I love about these boots is they fit my calves. I tend to have trouble finding boots that don't cut off circulation to my feet, and these fit perfectly, without any effort zipping them up. I don't have very large calves, just athletic calves, so if you ever have trouble with tall boots because of your calf muscles, these might work for you. I love the leather, they are just the right stiffness so they don't sag and slouch. I got the brown leather boots, and the color is so rich and luxurious, so these boots can be dressed up for work with a skirt and tights, or down with jeans. The grommet detail on the side is the perfect touch to the boot, to add some sophistication, excitement, and it adds to the riding-boot feel. They are just the right height (they hit just below my knee, and I am about 5'4). Overall, I recommend these boots, just make sure you order 1/2 size up!
