Non-existant customer service
We have been waiting over 2 months for username approval. No rejections or responses of any type from Shing Stars moderators. You need username approval to do certain things on the site (like have buddies, which is a "BIG" thing most of the kids want!)
The only way to contact them is through e-mail form on their site, 90% of the time you get a canned response. It took me 3 e-mails to even get a response from them (and guess what- they answer they gave implied it was a canned response or did not read the entire e-mail).
Stick with Web Kinz! At least there is plent of FAQ's on their site (something else Shining Stars has very little of)
It's not very compatiable with FireFox either.

adorable, soft, very much loved doggy!
We love this toy. We have another for my other son, the blue bear. Although I cannot comment on the customer service aspect of this item, I can tell you that the dog is very soft, and very cuddly. It's very nicely made and the perfect size for carrying around everywhere we go. The added bonus of the star-naming is a very nice touch. Our boys are too young to understand right now, but it's a neat concept.

A happy grand daughter!
My grand daughter was very pleased with her yellow lab Shining Stars. The thought of naming a start thrilled her. Not only is the toy adorable, it seems to be well made and was everything I expected!
