Perfect for umpire work
I was shopping for a replacement shoe for behind the plate umpire work and came across this Nautilus shoe. It looked good in pictures and the price was right so I gave it a chance. It arrived quicker than I expected and the quality of the workmanship is top notch. I have already used them in 20 games and the more I wear them, the more comfortable they feel - better than the shoes I replaced. They have a very thick sole, a rear pull tab for easy pull on and leather and nylon sides for better breathing. The toes are steel but the plate that covers the laces is not steel, but a hard flexible plastic. It has not been a problem. What I like about this shoe are the two hooks at the top of the laces for fast and easy loosening and tightening. I am more than pleased, I am enthusiastic about this purchase.
