In Touch with Celebs
Yeah, In Touch magazine is basically fluff when compared to world events, but I like their kind of fluff. This class of magazine is celebrity driven without being what I would classify a tabloid (i.e. Star or The National Inquirer). In comparison, In Touch magazine most closely relates to US Weekly and People. Of these three magazines, In Touch has the best quality and quantity of photographs. In Touch's article's aren't as good as US Weekly's, but with a much lower cover price it's worth picking up one when in line at the grocery store. On the other hand, if you are looking to subscribe to a weekly magazine, US Weekly is a better bet because their usual subscription price is $.1.00 per issue versus their $3.50 cover price per issue. Meanwhile, In Touch does not give much of a price break for subscribers. Their subscription price is $.1.49 per issue versus their $1.99 cover price per issue.
Poor subscription delivery
Basically this is pure gossip reading. I like the magazine for this purpose, however THIS subscription delivery service is for the birds! I get a magazine, on average, every two or three weeks. When I do finally receive it, it is so outdated that the news is old and the "tv" programs to watch are already over....by several days! The days I receive it also vary, there is no consistency whatsoever - very unreliable and you'd be better served by going to the store and buying it there.
What a Nightmare of a Subscription
I was pleasantly surprised reading many of the reviews on Amazon. Well, let me rephrase. I was pleased that I amn't the only one with disgust for the company. I started getting it about 7 weeks ago and the address was incorrect from the start. I requested an address change every week and it never happened until I wrote a strongly worded angry email to them to which they said it would change in about 6 weeks! On top of that I always received the magazines after I see them in the store. An on top of that I have not received two issues in the last three weeks!!! What a horror this company is. So much, in fact, that I just cancelled the subscription. I'm subscribing to Us Weekly. Hopefully I'll have better luck there.
