Love It
I am a backpacker who has gone through a lot of head lamps. My one complaint about previous headlamps is that after a while, it hurts to have 3 AAA batteries pushing against your forehead. Also, while they may have multiple lighting modes, there is only one that I really use all the time.

I tried ear lights to eliminate the pain of the headlamps, but wasn't satisfied with the inability to position the light where I wanted it to go.

Then, on a whim, I picked this headlight up at a big box store for less than it is listed here. Had it not been so cheap, I would never have gone for it. I'm an adult, and this is a children's item.

But being a children's item, Rayovac actually paid attention to the comfort factor. The elastic holds firmly, but isn't too strong. The light is quite lightweight. It isn't glaringly bright but isn't wimpy either, which is exactly the type of light I need.

Oh, but it doesn't have a red LED and what about night vision? You may ask. Well, that was easily fixed with a small piece of red plastic wrap that I keep clipped in the clip (there is a clip on this so if it isn't on your head you can clip it to things) and wrap over the light if I need red light instead.

I would buy another one because I love it so much, except the LED is still going strong and so is the original battery set (after well over 25 hours of use).
