This is a pair of Antique Cast Iron Schramm Heavy Equipment Signs which came out of a Philadelphia estate and they are in good looking and in good display condition. The Schramm Company was founded in Philadelphia in 1900 to repair gasoline engines for elevators, continued to revolutionize the use of gas engines, air compressors, and heavy construction tractors and drilling equipment and continues to the present day as Schramm, Inc. These magnificent looking curved cast iron Schramm signs likely were attached to some of their earliest heavy equipment, date back to the early 1900's and exude the pride and longevity of a Company which has survived the test of time. These are great if you want signs which capture the attention of the public because of their look and construction whether you use them for display and/or other purpose. Each measures 1-1/2''x5''x22'' and they weigh a total of 24 pounds.
