As its name implies, Brushed Bistro presents a satin finish on the handles, which exude a substantial heft and taper to a smooth point. A collar detail, like a lathe-cut spindle, adorns each spoon and fork neck and provides pleasing leverage and texture to the fingers. Spoon bowls are significantly round and oversized. Rust is not a problem if you read directions!!
All the people that complained about rust listen up!! You can not wash this (or any other brushed flatware) with dishwasher detergent that contains Lemon!! It tells you that on the paperwork in the box! I have had my brushed Hampton Silversmith flatware for over 3 years and they look brand new! I make sure not to use the regular lemon cascade, I usually use the baking soda one or whatever else does not mention lemon on the label. I have never had one speck of rust on any of my flatware and I have a service for 12 (7 of us in the house, 5 are kids). This company makes a nice heavy, feels good in the hand, sturdy, flatware set and I still get compliments on it even after all this time.

Great flatware at a bargain price
I purchased this flatware set originally a few years back and love it. For the price, you can't beat it. The brushed stainless steal finish and classic styling are what you'd expect from a much more expensive line. I've run it through the dishwasher for years and it still looks great. Why pay more?

FABULOUS & worth every penny!
My set is 4 years old, and I love it!!! If you have problems with red/rust colored spots, please know IT IS NOT RUST! What you see are stains from using lemon dishsoap. And guess what? It comes off if you scrub it with a green scratch pad (like the Scotch brand). The paperwork tells you not to use lemon dishsoap, and to clean when needed with the pad. This set has a nice weight to it, and feels so smooth and silky. My family of 5 uses it for every meal. I wash my set in the dishwasher and treat it terribly and it still looks fabulous. I've only had to scrub off stains about once a year. You will not regret spending your money on this set.
