Product Description

Nellie Trent flees to Plymouth from the villainous debt collector, Daniel Quilty, where she tries to find a new life as a respectable shop keeper. Hampered by her abundant charms and easy virtue, she and her business slide into trouble until local squire and debaucher, John Truscott comes to her rescue. And makes an unusual suggestion – to use their store to sell specialist items for the adult trade. Soon elevated to the status of a wealthy, if not respectable, citizen, Quilty returns, bent on evil, to fight a climactic duel with Truscott.

Watch Out for Horny Clowns and Randy Primates5
I loved this book. It was a wild ride.
Unlike so much erotica today , Aishling Morgan always provides a good plot , characters you either love or hate and plenty of kinky sex.
If you have never read an Aishling Morgan book then just take a look at how much some of the rarer , out of print volmumes are going for - like The Rake. Even some works by modern mainstream masters don't go for that much.
I don't agree with the other review for this book ,stating there was less sex than previous Morgan novels. I don't go into a book looking for quanity over quality . To me there was as much sensuality in The Old Perversity Shop as in Velvet Skin ,for example.
What draws me to this book and any Aishling Morgan book is how believable the female characters appear within the context of the story. You might never come across such a woman outside a wet dream but when a Morgan heroine begins to crave a good spanking or finds herself the half willing object of a circus ape's desire you're drawn into her world and hear every sob, moan and red handed slap as if you were there.
Indulge your dirty itch and buy this book.

A sex book with less sex?2
I've read hundreds of erotic books in my day. I've read ten of Aishling Morgan's novels. All I have to say is that the trend for him is to include less actual sex in his books. This, to me, is a bad trend. There are some very good moments in this book. But there aren't enough of them, in comparison to his earlier works. I much prefer his books "Peaches and Cream" and "Deep Blue" to this one.
