The case is made from solid titanium, which is nearly 50 percent lighter than steel, but 30 percent stronger. It's also particularly resistant to salt water corrosion, as well as hypo-allergenic--perfect for those with metal allergies. Measuring 33mm wide, this square case is just 9mm thick and it's topped by a bezel with tiny machine bolt accents. It has a black dial that's complemented by silver stick dial markers, dotted small minute indexes, silver baton hands, and a day-and-date function at 3 o'clock. Other features include a super-hardened, scratch-resistant mineral crystal and precise Japanese quartz movement.

This watch is backed by Skagen's limited lifetime warranty, which covers all parts except strap, crystal and battery.

Perfect
I bought this because it was unlike most of the Skagen watches you see; round and probably silver. The rectangular shape really sets it apart and is a lot classier in my opinion. The simple time markings and studs on the case only add to that. Also it has the day and date, in english and danish (?), unlike other Skagen watches. It still boasts the light thin feel that all titanium Skagen watches offer. I love this watch.

stylish watch unique in it's style and character
The watch arrived promptly and it's price was exceptional for the quality and style. I agree that the red coloured date is hard to read in ambient light but this watch is not about absolute functionality but style if you want the latter buy a digital watch with year, date and day and possibly a chronograph as well as alarm thrown in for free
