Amazon.com Product Description
The C800 Advantix camera from Kodak is an Advanced Photo System camera with point-and-shoot simplicity. It features a 27-80mm motorized zoom lens and infrared autofocusing, letting you snap photos from 2 feet and beyond. A pop-up flash fires automatically in low-light situations and fires away from the lens, reducing red-eye. Auto close prevents washout photos, and multibeam focusing keeps your subject in focus when taking wide-angle pictures. The flash folds down when the camera is off and serves as a protective lens cap.
The Kodak C800 records lighting and color data on the film's magnetic strip for the photo lab to use when developing, and it imprints each shot with time and date. Because this camera is a member of the APS line, it offers three print formats--classic, group, and panoramic. The viewfinder displays your selected picture format. The Kodak C800 automatically advances and rewinds film, and the safety interlock prevents the door from opening until the roll is completely rewound. The timer allows you to take self-portraits or to include yourself in group shots. Kodak's midroll change feature lets you change film speed or remove and reload a film cassette.
A roll of Kodak Advantix color film, battery, coupon book, instructional manual, and detachable camera strap are included. Kodak offers a one-year warranty for parts and labor.

Glad I bought it
I do like the camera, it is very easy to use and is a nice balance between small/lightweight with good features, nice zoom, and an affordable price. But there are a few things I'd prefer if I could pick and choose. I don't like the fact that the camera's autofocus gets to decide what to focus on. The only way you get to pick something to focus on is if it's in the dead center of the picture (their "spot focus"). Also, I don't like it that the default setting for an APS picture size is the middle 4 x 7 picture. I prefer the traditional 4 x 6 for most of my pictures and it's hard to always to remember to change it. But like I said, I do like the camera overall, and would recommend it as a good buy.
Nice and Handy for Quick Pixs!
The C800 is nice and light and fits in your pocket nicely. I really enjoy this aspect of the camera. I enjoy the feature of programming how many prints I want of a certain picture. I just program the camera before I shoot and I can preorder 5 of a group shot if I need that many. I have a large family and I am tired of getting doubles of every picture. This feature seems to save me money. We just returned from a trip out west and the colors seem rich and nice. The viewfinder eyepiece has a focus for individual adjustments which comes in handy when you have two people using the same camera. One thing I don't enjoy as another reviewer mentioned, is that the default setting(and you can NOT change it) is the "H" setting which produces 4x7 pictures, which will not fit in the standard photo albums. I had to purchase a photo album just for this size and the albums out there that hold the 4x7's are limited. I think of the last roll I took, I remembered to set it to the Classic 4x6 size twice.
I downsized from a 35mm and it is a bit of an adjustment, but it is of no fault of this camera. Overall I would recommend this camera, but would suggest to Kodak to change the default to the C setting.
Premature Rewind
After 10 weeks, the C800 began to rewind prematurely, losing shots already taken. Kodak has a repair facility, no instant exchange, and there is a 3-4 week wait according to the technical representative I talked to. The pictures I got with the C800 are great, but there is no way of knowing when the thing will rewind. I have had a 600 Advantix, not as much zoom or as many features but that camera never gave me a minutes trouble and the pictures were just as good. Maybe a lesson learned.
