Manufacturer Product Description
Whatever your optical needs might be, Celestron has a binocular that's right for you. The brilliance and sharpness of the image you see through a particular binocular or spotting scope is determined by a number of different factors. Magnification, optical coatings, and lens diameter are just a few of the factors influencing how a binocular performs.

However, the single most important criterion in performance will always be the quality of the optics. Celestron delivers optical excellence through careful consideration of quality in the glass and lens coatings used, precision manufacturing processes, and uncompromising quality control.

All feature extreme close focus performance - the 8x32 as close as 5 feet!

Fantastic binoculars5
These Binoculars seem well made and definately have quality optics. The image is bright, color accurate, and contrast superb. Even at dusk they pick up enough light for birdwatching. At night, craters on the moon are beautiful to behold. I love using the unusually close focus of 5 feet to examine insects like I had never seen them before. As an added bonus (and remarkable at this price) they are said to be waterproof (I assume they are but have not tested). These are easy and comfortable to handle and focus. Lastly, they work very well (and better than many others) with eyeglasses on. The lens caps/cups fit extremely well on the back and decent on the front. My only wish to improve these binocs is that the lens covers secured better to the binoculars to ensure they are not lost. I had bought simils Pentax binocs first but returned mostly because they worked poorly with eyeglasses on. These are cheaper and equal to better than the Pentax feature for feature. Lastly, these come with a lifetime nofault warranty.

Lightweight and good with eyeglasses5
I bought these after reading at birdwatchersdigest.com [...]
that they were highly rated with or without eyeglasses. The Clestron's did not disappoint me. No more need to remove glasses to use binoculars. They have excellent optics, and are lightweight yet sturdy and waterproof. They survived my Alaskan backpacking trek in the Brooks Range and provided excellent views of grizzly bears, caribou, dall sheep and birds. I avoided losing the end covers by leaving them home. The eyepiece cover attaches to the neck strap so I took that.

Great product!5
Great for glasses-wearers, or at least way better than other binoculars. Also great for anyone else - they have cool twist-up eyecups. I can bang them around a bit without worrying about it. They're waterproof. Relatively small, which is nice for walking around for long periods of time. If you look around a bit, you'll hear complaints about the lens caps and how they fall off all the time. That's true. If you don't want to lose them, take them off before you go anywhere with them. But I wouldn't let that discourage me from buying these binoculars.
