Product Description
By adding the lens to the front of your camcorder lens, it extends the focal length and makes distant objects appear larger and closer without having to move closer. The optical magnification does not spoil the image quality while it does with digital zooming system. 5-adapter rings 27mm/30mm/30.5mm /43mm/49mm included.

Customer Reviews
Not amazingly impressive...
Ok i'm new to DV video photography but I went out and bought one of these things after having splashed out a lot on a DV cam, I didn't want to further damage my bank account on an extortionatly priced Teleconvertor. So I chose this Raynox lens.
The first complaint out of the box, is that the adapter rings are plastic :| one crossthread and their screwed, (for a bad pun lol).
The second complaint came after shooting some wildlife photography as I have been doing for the last few weeks. The subject in particular this time was rabbits which i stumbled across outside work.
Reviewing the shot footage reveals a blue fuzz effect around the outside of the white areas of the subject, and effect reffered to as Chromatic Abberations. This basically indicates a low quality lense. The more worrying thing is that the subject was center in the lens, when Chromatic Abberations usually occurs off center and towards the edge of the lens.
Overall I think the lens has a nice zoom, but the unwanted fuzz effect spoils the footage and pretty much renders it usless on a bright day.
