This TV has an awesome HD picture!
I bought this TV when it first was available in 2002. I think it was the first 1080i TV that Sony made. Being a CRT, it has amazing contrast and clarity. It's got something that the new LCD and Plasma TV's just don't have. The video is crystal clear and the contrast is excellent. Discovery HD channel looks especially good!
The only problems I have with this set are the weight and the screen size. It's very heavy and you have to be at least five-feet from the screen to discern the full 1080 resolution. The screen size is actually 32" and that might be a bit small for some people.
