Customer Reviews

I love it5
I bought one of these a while back not really knowing what I would use it for. I love it! It came with an adapter which isn't shown here. It's a clear case that the Intelligent Stick fits into. It also had a cap for the USB end for protection. The cap has a little clip on it so you can clip to your clothes or purse or whatever. What I like is that you can use it with or without the adapter. Mine also came with a clear plastic case that holds 2 Intelligent Sticks; it's about the size of a credit card. I plan on buying a larger one soon. The one I have currently has 2 full CD's downloaded to it along with about 5 word documents that vary in size. I'm pretty much out of room so I want to get another one. I would definitely recommend this product.

Useful But Seems Fiddly4
I got this because it was available at a good price, and I needed a spare USB drive.

Pros: Pretty slim, I'm told it can be used as a Memory Stick (not a benefit for me), has a clip to hold it in one's shirt pocket. Capacity is large enough to be useful -- I have a Knoppix boot image on mine, plus other miscellaneous files.

Cons: Cap and case are just a press fit (no detents that I can see), and will stop retaining the card someday. No place to hold the cap while the unit is in the USB slot. The activity LED is small and not as bright as some others (e.g. Lexar). No keychain attachment point, although I don't use those anyway.

So...a good idea, the package is nice in some ways, and the memory stick compatibility will be useful to some people. Three-and-a-half stars.
