Comparable to original battery
I purchased this battery as a spare for my Nikon P5100. It is a great deal, but keep in mind that either the batteries for the P5100 aren't made to handle it, or the P5100 is a power hog. With this is mind, I was hoping for a battery that would at least last as long as the original and I haven't been disappointed. I recently went on a two month trip to rather cold temperatures, and both the original battery and this battery performed identically. Unfortunately, this meant that I needed two batteries to make it through a day of tourism, even if I turned off the flash in an effort to conserve the battery.

I do, however, recommend this battery as a good spare/replacement. Owners of a P5100 just need to bear in mind that the batteries, though adequate, will not last a day of heavy tourism. It also seems as though 20 degree F weather will really affect this battery, as the longevity was noticeably shorter than the normal warm weather where I live. Despite this, because it performs as well as the original, it is worth the money.

The title says it all. It works as well as the original from Nikon, at a far lower cost. I highly recommend it.
