Customer Reviews

Great case!!5
I am delighted with this purchase. It has more padding for the camera than the cases I've seen in the stores locally. I took it to Europe and it kept my Rebel Xti safe and handy during the trip. It is lightweight and has sufficient pockets, yet takes little space. I'm very happy with it.

I love it!5
This case fits my Pentax SLR pretty nicely with some room to shove in the camera strap and extra batteries. As clumsy as I am, I droped the case with camera in it several times and it saved my camera! It's also pretty much water proof too. I was out in the rain for a few hours and the case was soked but the camera remained pretty dry (I had a piece of paper in the case too and it was dry). And the price is hard to beat!

Great DSLR camera holster case5
I wanted as small a camera holster as possible that would house my new Fuji Finepix S100 FS, and probably a Nikon D40 without lens hood. While many reviewers recommended another cheaper brand, you do get what you pay for. For a few more dollars, the Kodak Gear holster is very-well constructed, and the padding is just right.

The fit was a tiny bit snug, but after a few hours the material adapted to the camera and fits fine. I do sometimes apply a bit of pressure to the top cover so it zips more smoothly, but that's not a problem. Keep in mind there will be almost no extra room for accessories--maybe just lens cleaner and cloth. I did squeeze an extra rechargeable battery into the too-tight front zipper pocket. That's the one thing I would redesign.

The case includes a convenient strong top carry handle, and the shoulder strap is both comfortable and secure. However, I prefer to wear the case on my waist, so I went to the big box hardware store and, for a few bucks, I bought a 2-inch wide black nylon web tool belt with snap closure that slid right into the sturdy belt loop on the back of the holster. Really nifty. The 2 inch belt feels secure and evenly distributes the weight.
