The CineMotion technology feature uses reverse 3-2 pull down technology, providing smoother picture movement when playing back movies or other video sources on film. The 3D digital comb filter analyzes the picture over three dimensions--vertical, horizontal and time--to get superb detail and high color purity under the widest range of picture conditions. Other features include the Steady Sound audio equalizer (for consistent output between programs and commercials), parental controls (V-chip), and Favorites channel list.

Super-Patterned Vertical Alignment BRAVIA™ televisions’ new Super-Patterned Vertical Alignment (S-PVA) panels divide pixels into more segments than was possible with PVA (Pattered Vertically Aligned) technology. These segments have an incredibly fast 8-millisecond response time that increases the television’s refresh rate. Dividing the pixel display into more segments also allows a cleaner break between dark and light pixels, improving viewing angles, color, and contrast. The diagram below demonstrates how, by increasing in the number of segments per sub-pixel from one to two, and increasing speed of refresh rate accordingly, picture quality can be achieved that can entirely eliminate flicker and bring the viewing experience to a whole new level.

Beware if you want to install on the wall
The TV is great. No issues here. But.... The wall mount bracket: KLV-WL11 is priced at close to $250. I called Sony to check to see if this was true, the cost of the wall mount bracket is roughly 1/2 the price of the TV and they confirmed that was correct. They stated that the price of the bracket was that high so that it did not fall off the wall. Gimme a break!!
