These refills work great!
In light of the bad review I was holding my breath in anticipation of trying these cartridges on my printer. I needed to replace the black and yellow cartridges and put printing on hold rather than buying locally. They arrived a few days ago and, since I waited for them, I had a lot of printing to do...both print and graphics. I agree with reviewer #1. I feel bad for reviewer #2 and can only wonder what his problem may have been. Perhaps he simply received a defective cartridge which I'm sure happens from time to time. Let's face it, you get nine refills for less than the price of one black & white. I'm willing to accept an occasional defect.

TO THE POINT: They all work just fine on my printer. I've had no smudging at all and, honestly, they look just as good as the manufacturer's do. I'm going to run through the one's I installed and make sure no problems creep up in the future and then order another set. If I find any problems I will repost with an update.

A great substitute
The purpose of my printing is for lecture notes and journal articles off the internet. IT is fine for this type of work. I have had to use it for coping papers, and that is fine. For official documents, I personally would not use it. For most everyday purposes, it is good substitute. This is my second order from this company and I have no complaints.

I'm sorry for the other person who did not like this ink, but I thought it was just great!!!! The price is better than that other "auctioning" website where you can buy everything that competes with Amazon. The color is true to life and I had absolutely, positively, NO problems with streaks or, well, ... I simply had no problems at all. Also, I bought it from the least expensive seller and the service was great. I highly recommend this pack of several inks. The cost for the entire pack is better than the name brand price for just one black ink cartridge. Plug it in and print away!
