Flexible device, but a bit on the flimsy side.
I bought this unit to hold my iPod and Garmin navigation system in my MINI Cooper. Mounted on a Panavise metal bracket that attaches to the stereo, the combo provides a secure means of holding these items, in a place that is easy to see and reach from the driver's seat.

My only complaints is that the miGrip isn't the strongest thing in the world, and I know it's just a matter of time until a passenger shatters it by bumping it with their knee. The little sliding supports at the bottom are particularly vulnerable...they are built of cheap plastic, and are sticking out right in harms way.

Speaking of those supports, it's great that they slide, which helps accomodate a large variety of device and cable configurations. However, they easily slide right out of the holder, and several times I've had to hunt around on the floor for them. (The floor is NOT a safe place for them either, one touch of a foot and they'd be broken!) I'm thinking of modifying mine, by glueing in a small piece of material to hold these supports captive.

All in all, I'm pretty happy...until the inevitable day that it breaks! Hopefully replacement parts are available.
