Easy Install
The car kit was a peice of cake to install. It only took us about 40 minutes to prep and install. I chose to NOT use the mounts. It sits nicely on my console. All wires hidden and it worked out great!!! I ordered TWO more!!! One for my RV and the other for the Mrs' car.

Sirius Kit is OK
I ordered this kit so I could move my Sirius unit from one vehicle to another, when I needed to. I also use the kit to play my Sirius in the house over an FM stereo. How ? I bought a 12-volt ac adapter at a local electronic supply house, and using alligator clips, just jump from the positive and negative leads on the adapter output line to the appropriate leads on the cigar lighter plug that is furnished with the kit. That takes care of the power. For the antenna , I mount the extra Sirius antenna on an small, empty, steel vegetable can. It works just fine; so, you can get double duty out of a kit like this, and use your Sirius unit in another vehicle, or, in your home for the price of the small 12V adapter.

Excellent for additional vehicles
This is a very straight forward, easy to install option, for additional vehicles. Take your doc and play anywhere you want. I bought my wife the sat rad kit, for her car. Then, we needed one for the truck when we go camping, and there are no stations while traveling across the highways.
I would recommend this, and plan on getting one for the home, back deck, and one for the boat this summer! This lets you enjoy your sat rad (satellite radio) anywhere you want, with just one subscription fee.
