Little girl with broken foot stays busy
After my kindergartener broke her foot just before summer vacation, I got her several Perler fuse bead sets to take her mind off of missing swimming lessons and bike riding. She and her 9-yr-old brother have had a wonderful time making designs of butterflies, cars, aminals, flowers, etc. and have given them to their friends, grandmas, teachers, and have left a space in some to string as Christmas ornaments. She has told me that she isn't so sad about no swimming because she loves "doing bead shapes" so much. Only her teenage sister and I are allowed to touch the iron. Excellent fun
This is really a great "toy". The kids made so many things from the little beads. So good, if fact, I will get another one when the beads run out. The only negative thing we can say is that there should be more black, white & primary colors, because those ran out pretty quick.
