Works great / Fast (enough) card
Besides listing that Type H cards are "2 to 3 times faster than Type M cards" I've not been able to find other specs, given that write speeds are "variable according to camera settings." A site for Olympus Type H cards lists write speeds of up to 9 MB/s and read speeds of up to 15 MB/s. At any rate, it's definitely a lot faster than my previous Memory Stick card, and apparently they use up less power than other cards.
Check the Fujifilm (dot ***) site for compatibility with cameras and card readers.
Much faster than type M
If you have a "fast" camera there is a big difference between type "M" and type "H".
For me on my Fuji6000FD it takes about half the time when taking a RAW image compared to type "M" cards.
Really big difference.
nice card
Ordered the Fuji Film H1GBXD 1GB xD Picture Card for my Fujifilm FinePix A205 camera. The camera is a 2 mega pixel and it's several years old, when new it shipped with a 16MB card believe it or not, that's only storage for 25 pics! Some time later I bought a 32MB, about [...] bucks if I recall correctly, and it would store 50 pics. This new 1 Gig xD card will hold 1631 pics at 2 mega pixels! I paid about [...] bucks (shipping included) for the 1 Gig xD card from JR Music World via Amazon. I have been snapping pics and uploading to PC and card is working well. I have not come even close to it's storage capacity yet though. I can't speak to the H vs M thing, before I ordered it I just checked the Fuji site to be sure this card and my camera were compatible.
