Customer Reviews

Good, solid ram.5
Just got this to give my aging Dell 8400 a little extra kick. It's very nice ram, but the thing I noticed most is the large aluminum heat sink, which does a great job keeping heat off this ram. I would totally buy again in a heartbeat. Very high quality stuff. Although, it can be had for cheaper than Amazon is listing it.

Good ram if works out of package4
I purchased this ram to expand my Dell XPS from 2 to 6 gigs, seeing as Vista tends to be a bit of a power hog. At first, my system would not boot up at all after I installed this ram. I then ran memory tests on both of them, and one of the sticks was bad. I returned them for a new pair, and they worked without flaw. This would be a 5 star item in my book had I not had to deal with the initial defective product, but I could not be happier with what I have now.

Screamer Memory5
Wow, this memory just screams! I tried it at the normal 800MHZ and its perfect. Using 4 sticks for 8Gig for my VMware ESXi server and I can run 8 VM's without even worrying about the memory. Now I'm just waiting for them to come out with the 2X4GB versions so I can up it to 16Gig.

The heat sinks are massive and work great. Just for grins I put a memory cooler fan on top of them and the memory doesn't even get warm to the touch. Before the fan you could feel it get pretty toasty. Recommend even a cheap fan (mine was the crab eye for $9).
