You get what you pay for!
This battery doesn't deserve 1 star. It is much lighter than the original Nikon battery. The charger indicates that the battery has accepted a charge. However, it isn't enough to operate the camera. This battery should have been called SURGERY, it removed money out of my pocket and now I am much lighter! Save your money.

Ok, I should have known better
Why I decided it was important to save $20 buying an aftermarket battery for my D80 instead of the original is beyond me. Sad to say, I got one of these, and it has been a real disappointment. I can get 5-6 hours of constant use out of the original battery (OEM) that came with my camera. This one only gets about 2.5-3 hours before dying. It fits perfectly, but is strangely lighter than the original, and I can't help thinking that is because it has cheaper components.

If you really want a replacement, do yourself a favor and get the much superior Nikon EN-EL3e Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery. The extra cost is money well spent.
