Sony's new DSLR
I did a lot of homework before I purchaced this camera. I have two other Sony cameras 707 and 828. The marriage of Konika-Minolta and Sony has produced a superior Camera system, and is exactly what I was waiting for, both in terms of quality and price. I am going trekking through Belize this winter, and we'll see then about durability. I must say that I am really glad that I purchaced this one before they brought out the 12.5 mg version D700, I just don't need to spend another $500 at this time.

What I like best is the wide range of lenses. The new line from Sony and Carl Zuiss plus the third party array like Tamron, and especially the long historical line from K-M. The in camera stabilazion is a treat, and I think anyone will appreciate the anti-dust factor.
