They are very comfortable to wear and I like the closing that way I don't lose them unlike others where the backing sometimes falls off.

Sterling Silver Garnet Hoop Earrings Make Me Happy!
I wasn't sure "how these would work" before purchasing but the mechanism for "opening, inserting into the ear and closing" is smooth with no "jerks, stops or starts." The earrings just slip in in a few seconds. They are beautiful, the right size for me (I have small ear lobes) and I am really enjoying having them in my jewel box. I wear them often, I would say at least 3-4 times a week.
