Must Have For International Travels5
I recently purchased Made Products' Camera Armor for my Nikon D-80. The Camera Armor is a great product so I was very interested when I heard Made Products offers a shoulder and hand strap, the ToughStrap and SafeGrip Combo, for added protection. The ToughStrap is a shoulder strap with integrated steel cables that run through the whole strap to help prevent theft. It is bundled with with a hand strap, the SafeGrip, that securely tethers your camera to your hand and ensures you do not drop your camera while holding it with one hand.
The past couple of years I have been able to travel to Africa and South America. Immediately upon my arrival to both areas, my tour guides noticed my Digital SLR camera and warned me about bandits. They said it is common for bandits to run up on unsuspecting tourists to cut camera, backpack, and purse straps and run off with the goods. Luckily this hasn't happened to me yet but I have talked with many tourists who have been victims of such tactics.
Upon viewing the ToughStrap and Safe Grip Combo online and my great experience with the Camera Armor, I decided to make the purchase. I am very impressed with the quality of the product. Not only does it offer me protection against theft, the ToughStrap provides generous padding for comfort unlike my Nikon "stock" strap. I would suggest the ToughStrap to anyone who travels or plans to travel abroad. Even if you don't travel, the comfort and protection is far superior to most camera vendors' "stock" straps.
The SafeGrip allows me to hold my camera safely and comfortably with one hand without worrying about dropping it. The SafeGrip has an adjustable velcro strapping system that makes it easy for anyone to use.
For under $40 dollars you are protecting your thousand dollar or more camera investment against theft and dropping. Hmm, makes sense to me. I would also strongly suggest DSLR camera owners to consider purchasing Made Products' Camera Armor to protect your camera investment. There is nothing else out there like it.

Unforseen problem3
I got my made toughstrap bundle with a hand strap for my Canon 30D last month, June. The product is really tough and no question about theft and safety of your camera. But there is one thing I want to call the attention of the manufacturer, the ring that comes with it. The strap uses a ring at the end to be able to attach it to the camera. The ring damaged my camera because it rubs at the corners of my camera which I noticed after a whole day visit to New York. I was disappointed and I removed it and use the original strap again. I hope the manufacturer would improve the attachment because you will surely get some complains form other buyers in the future.

Dissapointment1
The product definetely does what it claims. The strap is tough and can definetely hold a 5D and 70-200mm beast lens without problem. I will however return the item. For a product that is supposed to protect your investment - why would they have rings instead of a threaded strap for attaching to your camera? This will create damage and I simply will not install it. If you don't mind wear on the connectors and corners of your camera - then this is for you.
