Arrived quickly, works great.
I had been thinking of getting a remote for my D200 for a while, and found this on Amazon. For night shots, fireworks, low light photography without flash, etc.

The package arrived within a few days, and the remote works nicely.

Another nice thing is that if I upgrade to a D700 or D3, I can use the same remote.

D200 compatibility review
I used this product with my Nikon D200. It works great most of the time, though there's no instructions for how it is used. You kind of have to get used to the buttons autofocus sensor, how it snaps the shutter, etc. It's somewhat of an art to get this thing working properly.

This product does everything I want it to do. It focuses with 1/2 a press, takes a picture when fully pressed, and can lock for "bulb" shots. While it may or may not be flimsier than its more expensive competitors (it does have a very plastic feel), the price difference and functional capabilities made the choice easy for me. It does have a very long cord that can be a bit of a pain, but I would rather have it and not need it than the other way around. (Next unit will be wireless)
