For the price you can't beat it.
Recently purchased this product as I misplaced my Handycam AC Adaptor cord and needed a quick way to charge my batteries. I went to the store and saw Sony's version at a retail price of around $50. I did not want to spend that much as I figured I would eventually find the misplaced the AC adaptor cord, so I purchased this one off amazon for around $15 bucks plus shipping.
It arrived within about 3 days time from the seller on here, "Accessory Genie". They included the charger, a car adaptor (so you can charge while driving), two mini-tripods, and a convertor plug (so you charge your batteries in European electrical outlets).
The products themseleves are not as high quality as the Sony versions. The charger feels much lighter than Sony's and the plastic is for sure thinner. There is an indicator light which tells you the battery is done charging. A full charge took a couple hours. However the product does get the job done and at a fraction of the cost of Sony's (and avoiding state sales tax), the answer is clear. For the price you can't beat it.
