UV Protector for Sony DSC-H9
B&H did not carry this product (why, I have no clue). They tried to "pawn off" the dust protector as the UV protector...or they just don't know all their products and thought they were giving me what I had asked for. If at first you don't succeed, try Amazon. I also saved about $25. B&H was selling the dust protector for $50. The UV74MM Filter does both.

UV Filter
I am disappointed with this purchase. I though I was buying a UV filter for the Sony DSC-H9 camera. This lense is for the sun shade. I have reread the description of the product and no where does it say it is for the shade and not the camera lense. It is a nice filter.

Unneeded filter
I bought this filter for a new Sony DSC-H9 Camera. Becouse of the design of the camera the filter can only be used IF you attach the adaptor ring (a large conical hood-like attachment). This makes the camera quite bulky, difficult to stow in a bag, and the camera lens cap can no longer fit when the filter is attached.
