Product Description

Cameras fitted with normal lenses do not permit us to move closer than a certain minimum distance from the object being photographed. The Close-Up lens, which is simply mounted in the front of our normal taking lens, permits the taking of close-ups and also makes possible the photography of details which would be quite impossible without using the Close-Up lens. The easy to use solution for getting extra close. These lenses enable you to get much closer than the minimum focus of the standard camera lens - as close as 4 inches from the subject. Ideal for cataloging small items and focusing on details.

Customer Reviews

Not a great improvement3
I wanted a closeup lens set for taking detailed shots for personal and eBay use and reviews of this set for other cameras was pretty good and the price was right so I went for it. To start with the Finepix S700 can already do very close up shots on the super macro setting, so I was excited to see how this set would take it up a notch. Unfortunately the increase [with the 10x lens even]was marginal (5%, maybe 10% max) and without holding the camera very still and switching back and forth between add-on lenses and none I couldn't tell the difference. I'm no pro so there may be a trick to getting these to work. I'm keeping the set as they may fit future cameras with only buying a different adapter ring... The quality seems good and they come in a handy pouch.
