I purchased this lens to use for a DSC-H50. First off, I was disappointed to find no 'manual' or instructions whatever. After I figured out how to change the camera setting to make the lens at all usable, I was still disappointed. Despite the special tele setting, I couldn't make a single clear picture with my camera. Although this camera has a great stabilizer, you have to use a tripod to even have a chance at a good picture with the lens. I had bought it to increase my chances of making good pictures of songbirds but I will go back to using the camera without extra lens. A clear picture of a somewhat far away bird is better than a bigger blurred one.

Purchased this lens for my Sony Cybershot H9...it is absolutely fantastic!! Fits great and the shots I have gotten are unbelievable.
I wasn't diappointed in any way...
