The ribbed design includes slats close enough together to provide an even surface and far enough apart to allow rain water to fall through and dry out. A matching bar is available separately in Strathwood's coordinating Anderson hardwood bar collection. Sized to easily fit most any porch, deck, or patio-as well as indoor rec rooms and kitchen counters-each stool measures 21 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 33-1/2 inches tall. Some easy assembly is required on arrival.

A sturdy Southeast Asian hardwood comparable to teak and with excellent weather-resistant properties, kapur is light enough to move easily and requires no oiling unless to maintain a desired finish color. Left untreated, kapur will weather to a soft warm shade of gray similar to the weathering of teak. To prevent this weathering process, apply coats of teak oil. The frequency of necessary teak oil applications depends on the intensity of the outdoor elements. After kapur furniture has weathered, restore it to original condition by using teak cleaner and then applying teak oil to prevent more weathering. The barstools' galvanized hardware is designed for rust-free performance.

Beautiful Indoors or Out
These barstools are lovely, with a contemporary, ScanDesign type look. Easy to put together, not at all wobbly, and I am currently using them at my kitchen bar. Received lots of comments, as they look very chic and expensive.

Cool Stools
Very comfortable stools. Was suprised at how comfortable they were considering they are made of hard wood and have a slatted seat. Don't even need a cushion. The seat is nicely contoured.
The assembly was reasonably straight forward, and the design is sturdy.
Very happy with these stools.
