I Love my Canon Rebel XT although this lens is no good.
I purchased this package because I wanted to buy a Canon Rebel XT. At that time I knew very little about DSLR's and thought that the lens that came with this kit would be excellent because of the range it covers. It turned out to be a mediocre lens and soon bought the 18-55mm canon lens and it made a big difference. I have been shooting excellent pictures with this camera and truly believe that it is an excellent choice for advance amateurs and pro shooters if you know what you are doing. I am currently thinking in upgrading to the Canon D40 but will definitely hold on to this camera.

This package is a steal! Fantastic!
The Digital Rebel XT (aka the Canon 350D) is a fantastic camera, and the included 3rd-party lens is surprisingly good for the price! With regards to the extra accessories, most are great, some are just OK. Overall, though, I bought this package for less than the cost of the camera body alone on other sellers, so I'm very very happy. I absolutely recommend buying it if it becomes available again.

Just what I wanted...
This product has everything you'll need. The tripod and the usb conector are really handy. The filters and the 2 GB memory card are uber handy, and the bag fits everything perfectly inside it. The camera has great quality and resolution. The lense is good enough for any newbie to photography, it's not for macro's only nor for landscaps only. It's a great combination of products for a really good price.
